Grange's Alex Hendrick ran away with the Flagstaff Hill Vardon event on Sunday with two excellent sub-par rounds to win by 3-shots from Nick Cullen. Hendrick shot rounds of 70, 69, 139 to be 5-under the card and continue the excellent golf being played by Vardon winners this year. Cullen shot the best round of the day in the morning, a 68 to be leader in the clubhouse by 2 shots, but a disappointing 74 in the afternoon relegated him to 2nd place. Andrew McCarthy utilised his home course advantage to finish 1 shot behind Cullen in 3rd place, while South Lakes' Max McCardle was a further shot back in 4th. In the Junior Vardon event, Kooyonga's Charles Shaw shot rounds of 72, 80 to take out the title by 4 shots from Royal Adelaide's Cameron Baulderstone. Current Junior Vardon leader, John Hayes, finished a further shot back in a tie for third place with Glenelg's Michael Ratajewski.
