Girls Amateur, Rnd 2

Victorian Su-hyun Oh fired a 5 under round of 67 today to take a 3 shot lead into the third round of the Australian Girls Amateur. Oh's score was one of two sub par rounds today along with Queenslader Annie Choi shooting 70. Overnight leader Cathleen Santoso slipped back to T4th after a 4 over round of 76.

South Australia's Jenny Lee followed up her 78 yesterday with a solid 75 today to be sitting 16th going into Friday. Six of the seven SA girls survived the halfway cut which stood at 167.

Boys Amateur, Rnd 2

Tyler Hodge will go into the third round of the Australian Boys Amateur tomorrow with a 5 shot lead. Hodge backed up his score of 69 yesterday with an impressive 4 under round of 68 today. He overtook overnight leader Viraat Badhwar who sits in second place after shooting 74 today.

Anthony Murdaca is the best placed of the South Australian boys being T13th. The 2010 Boys Amateur champion followed up his 1 under opening round score with 77 today to be 11 shots off the lead. Kieren Barratt put in another solid effort today to be placed T20th at the halfway mark. Current South Australian Amateur champion Jack Williams narrowly missed the cut by 1 shot while Ben Tucker snuck in on the number. In total five SA boys will progress into the final day with the halfway cut being at 154.
